Buttons functions as a common fastener, are also charming ornamental elements on its own. They are often found in scrapbooks and in the hands of collectors.

These lamps are an exploration of identifying and using an ‘off the shelf’ object. Taking inspiration from light qualities through clouds, buttons are carefully selected and multiplied to form light shades.

This design can be easily assembled via a template without complicated tools. This may bring forth job opportunities with non-profit organizations and community aid services.
